AGNÈS DÄLLENBACH
Agnès Dällenbach was born in France, where she spent her youth and has now lived and worked in Basel (Switzerland) for 17 years. She is a self-taught artist and after some intense years of initiation, Agnès decided in 1996 to continue her persuit and dedicate herself to creative work.
The results of her investigations have led to the development of compositions on fabric, utilising acrylics and mixed techniques. The superposition of layers, created partially through the brush or the spatula result in compositions of great depth. The language is clear and is reduced to a minimum: folds, lines, curves and surfaces are interlaced, they are touched and crossed sometimes by means of parallel outlines distributed across the surface.
